[UPDATE] All for Lulz and Lulz for all?

Posted on: June 24th, 2011 by Vince 1 Comment

It started off small. A very small story. Hacking Playstation and Nintendo didn’t exactly fit them into “the news”. But now, they’ve really pushed it. They now are accused of taking down the FBI and CIA website, and in which case is now federal offense. The situation is unclear seeing they can’t track down Lulzsec, so what’s next? They say Facebook will be next, but does anyone know? No. And the government sure hasn’t helped in this situation. More hackings have been made by LulzSec these past few days.  This will be a total nightmare #AntiSec will be. I conclude on this massive project to be one of the most horrendous hackings ever.

UPDATE: After there 50 day breach, they finally gave up, disbanded, and let loose there final data: at&t data and 750,000 user accounts

IOS5. Better notifications. Better system.

Posted on: June 7th, 2011 by Vince 1 Comment

The Apple WWDC. A popular broadcast of new Apple products in which geeks and nerds pretty much visit, and learn about the astonishing new products lying ahead. But what Apple laid out this year was pretty interesting. New products launched! First up:

The iCloud: A new way to save your pictures, video, and music through your computer anywhere. Now i know what you may be thinking. This is just some lame schematic device used as a copycat of the Windows Cloud. But trust me, this is through the Ipod, Ipad, and Mac. So if you’re in need of transferring media through your Ipad, or other Apple product, this is for you.

IOS5: The IOS you love.  But better.  This new OS for the Iphone, remarkably, includes many new features.  The first is the homescreen.  It now sends notifications to your lockscreen, so there’s no more fuss over getting around to notifications.  Next, there’s the twitter integrations that work’s pretty well for the IOS, with tweet photo ability, and more.  Then there’s the iMessages.  It’s pretty much BBM for the Iphone.  Check out more at the  >>Apple Site.

And finally: Mac OS X Lion:  A powerful system that’s even more powerful.  A More IOS friendly seeming interface came through with Lion.  Launchpad, one of the largest features, is in this epic product.  All your apps come up in one place with this epic interface.  So when will these features be out?  Probably sometime this fall.  But we are not done yet. No. We’ve just begun.

Windows 8 on all PCs. Sleek for tablets, but what about PCs?

Posted on: June 2nd, 2011 by Vince 1 Comment

Windows.  It’s been the leading software innovator of the world.  But what happened last night made everyone go opinionated.  Tablets lovers, this is for you.  A fully functional, sleek metro interface with most Windows PC apps, as well as additional apps adding to the “Windows App Store”.  But on all PCs?  Touch-screen interface will do awesome, but do we really want it on non-touchscreen laptops.  I mean, i’m not one too complain, since I am an all-Windows lover, but this is different.  It’s still not even in beta.  Practically alpha.  So this device’s user interface has time to change.  Me personally, I would love to see this just as a Windows start menu, on hitting the start icon, you know, have this run in a separate pop-up window.  Photos below from Engadget.  Feel free to comment below.

Why Facebook needs a redesign?

Posted on: June 2nd, 2011 by Vince 2 Comments

Have you been on facebook? “Hey facebook me,” is a common term here in the internet age, but does facebook really appeal to users?  Twitter was just redesign last year, and I have to say, i’m impressed.

Facebook’s recent design is so simple, and ugly, heck, it’s even hard to navigate around without neatness.  I think, and I’m sure others would agree, that Facebook definately needs a redesign.  There are others out there, like the one below, that people design to make facebook look.  But will Facebook accept them.  No.  So if you’re looking for design and nice, beautiful feel, and the text-message type theme, go with Twitter.  If you want an ugly design, go with Facebook.
